    Sanseveria Laurentii

    Identification: The Sansevieria Laurentii is the most common variety, with a broad, yellow edge on the thick, sword shaped leaves. The centre of the leaf is cross-banded with pale markings. Sansevieria has upright growth and a shallow root system.

Care Instructions for Begonia Elatior:

  • Begonia Elatior hybrids do best in medium light, well-ventilated rooms.
  • Watering correctly is important in the care of begonias. Soil should remain moist, but not too wet. Water begonias at the base to avoid leaf spot and the possibility of fungal diseases on flowers. Allow the top 20cm or so of soil to dry out before watering again. Protect from pow-dery mildew by supplying adequate ventilation.
  • Best treated as an annual and discarded when flowering has finished.
  • Height: approximately 20cm
  • Availability: all year round

Care Instructions for Sansevieria Laurentii:

  • Light: Best to place the plant in medium -high light area to keep the foliage full.
    • Temperatures: Keep above 10 degrees. Ideal is between 21 and 32 degrees. 
      • Water: Sanseviera has rhizomes to store water. So, don’t over water. Rather stay more to the dry side with this plant. Overwatering can cause root rot.
